Release Massage Therapy offers a full line of services to help you through pregnancy and childbirth, from conception to childbirth coaching, to teaching you the pleasures of infant massage.

Every body is different and our therapists are skilled at tailoring your massage to reduce the symptoms you are experiencing. After childbirth, choose our “Bouncing Back from Baby” package of four massages that will help return your body to its pre-pregnancy state.

Pregnancy Massage

Massage during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy can reduce prenatal symptoms such as back & hip pain, swelling in hands and feet, heartburn, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal discomforts, respiratory difficulties, sciatic pain and carpal tunnel restriction.  It can help you relax, sleep better and lower stress which is critical to you and your baby’s health. If you are beyond your due date, we are happy to assist with acupressure points that may encourage labor.

Infant Massage Class

Bring your baby and family members to learn the basics of infant massage. You will leave with step-by-step instructions, massage lotion/oil, and knowledge of the benefits of infant massage and how and when to use it.

Childbirth Coaching

Trained in The Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth, Ellen taught group childbirth classes and served as a doula at over 100 births.  She will work one-on-one with you to help you prepare for your upcoming birth.  Sessions will be designed based on your needs and will include multiple resources to assist your learning. The full program is 6 sessions. We recommend a minimum of 2-3 sessions.

Bouncing Back from Baby SM 

Bouncing Back from Baby is a series of 4 massage sessions which are designed to return your body to its pre-pregnancy state.  Each session addresses an area of your body which was most affected by pregnancy and childbirth.  The goal is to assist in reducing current and future body discomforts.  We recommend that sessions are scheduled weekly and at least 6 weeks postpartum.

Fertility Massage

We offer 4 different sessions to help prepare your body for conception.  The sessions focus on clearing the body (with Raindrop Technique and acupressure), working with breathwork to relax and reduce restrictions in the diaphragmatic/abdominal area, increasing circulation & reducing restrictions in the pelvic area and releasing stress or emotional issues to promote preparation for conceiving.
