Ellen Winick

Ellen is the owner of Release Massage Therapy. She has practiced massage for over 20 years with advanced training and experience in sports, manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder Technique), prenatal/postpartum and deep tissue (neuromuscular & myofascial release). Ellen is on the faculty of the Massage Therapy department at the College of Lake County. She enjoys an active lifestyle of running, biking and swimming in addition to yoga and meditative practices. Ellen teaches infant massage classes and childbirth classes with couples, drawing on her experience and education as a labor doula and certified childbirth educator.

Kim Klein-Haas

kimKim has practiced therapeutic massage since 1999 and is skilled in assisting with injury recovery, athletic goals or overall wellness. Her experience also includes therapeutic relief and recovery to patients in a chiropractic setting. She is a personal trainer, wellness coach, yoga instructor and is an avid cyclist and runner. Kim can offer suggestions on stretching, personal training and yoga practices. She believes that each massage session should result in a therapeutic shift for her clients. When Kim suffered a shoulder injury from a bike fall, she recovered quickly because of her skills with rehabilitation. If you have an issue with your arms or shoulders, or are in rehab of any kind, she would be a great therapist to see!

Mary Slight

Mary has practiced therapeutic massage since 1994 and can call upon her many years of experience to design a session that will meet your needs. She has extensive training in: Swedish Massage for relaxation and stress reduction and Deep Tissue Massage (Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy). Mary is very experienced in helping treat chronic pain and its associated discomforts. You will find her very empathetic and committed to making a difference for you! Mary is also our go-to therapist when clients need to know how and when to best use essential oils for everyday healing. Mary has taught at The Chicago School of Massage Therapy, is the mother of two, and maintains a very active lifestyle including yoga, running and healthy eating.

Ann Torp

Licensed Massage Therapist • Certified in Reiki and Orthopedic Massage

ann-torpTo help reduce the inevitable stress of today’s daily living and encourage well-being, Ann offers a variety of therapies that can be combined in a way that will be most effective for your healing. She is skilled in Swedish massage, as well as the deeper, more specific work of Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release and Orthopedic massage. In addition, Ann is trained in Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki and Visceral Manipulation. These gentle therapies are subtle, yet can encourage deep healing. Each can be scheduled for a full session or integrated into your massage. Ann has experience working with clients who have ongoing health conditions, concussions, headaches and other chronic pain conditions.

Joanna Kloff

Joanna Kloff

Joanna is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and has practiced massage for more than 17 years. She has superior clinical skills to work specific issues at a deep level. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including Chiropractic & Podiatry. In these settings, her practice focused on sports injuries, work of the legs & feet and providing pre- and post-surgery care. She has a broad range of knowledge as she takes every chance to learn and expand her skills in line with the needs of her clients.

Joanna offers the following modalities: Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy, Sports, Reflexology, Pregnancy, Swedish, Craniosacral. She is also trained in kinesiology taping. She is confident and up-beat, loves her work and is committed to generating positive results for her clients. Joanna is fluent in Polish.

Michaela McGill

Michaela has been a practicing Reiki Therapist since 2012 and is also a trained Wellness Coach.

As a long-term IT professional, Michaela personally experienced the physical and emotional effects of work-related stress which led her to becoming a Reiki Therapist and Wellness Coach to help improve her own life as well as the lives of others. You are in healing hands with Michaela!

Meg Runyan

She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue (myofascial release and trigger point therapy), Reiki, Lomi Lomi (traditional Hawaiian massage that features gentle rocking like ocean waves), and Thai massage (a modality from Thailand that helps improve flexibility and relieve muscle tension). Meg is excited to help people find relief from physical and emotional stress, a better sense of well being and reconnection with their bodies. She enjoys traveling, writing, being outside, laughing and dancing.


Lizzie Davis Hope

Licensed Massage Therapist 

Hailing from England, Lizzie Hope is a dancer, dance instructor, mom and client-focused therapist. Her awareness of the body and the athlete makes her a perfect fit for those who are active- young and old. She can partner with you for on-going therapeutic support including suggestions for self-care. She has experience working with clients with neurological and autoimmune conditions such as Parkinson’s and Lyme’s disease.
